Hello 2025!
So after the JMES World, journey - we went on a mission to bring Scintilla to life.
Scintilla is big pillar that will unlock reconnecting Apiance, Robinfolio, TweenLabs and Kandlfeed together.
To help in the process of bringing it to life, I was happy in helping launching the SiBorg Ads / DSponsor Ads RWA product (instead of home, you have ad spot), learnt quite a bit in the ads processes itself, its economy.
It was actually a very good RWA in itself, its ability to move more swifly than a house property, made it a perfect case point.
Continuing on this path, I’ve been blessed to be appointed Code Master at RAAC (@RegnumAurum), I’ve been happily helping them in the past on some of their launch and product questions - I’ve audited their first codebase and gave as much advices as I could, and they liked it enough to propose me to help them throught their future.
Each of those projects of 2024 - yet again, highlighted the cross-chain issue, and the dive into the curve/chainlink ecosystem is wonderful in this sense.
Actually, of all the different launches I’ve been throught, that one is actually out-of-a-kind, very few were the ability to actually have the codebase review by good audit firms, and here, we had a first one, a second one coming and an open competitions.
The audits are really alike a “Graal”, especially in this contracts (more than a dozen, has many liquidity pools, deposit, withdraw, lending, borrowing, ve-tokenomics, all in Solidity).
Those hand-on project, highlighted the direction of Scintilla and provided some perspectives on short-term needs and long-term.
For instance, the ability to bridge from chain X to Y (hence where the node operator get paid, on exchange themselves), or its easy way to start-up a DAO with its own {governance} token(s).
Obviously the ability to create its RWA is really important, and launching Scintilla is the first step to provide such ability protocol-wide.
The goal staying the same, we want the protocol to be able to afford for free-legal process upon RWA creation on Scintilla.
2024 demonstrated that again - all those companies actually spend a big portion of their raise in legal fees before even producing a single revenu for the same and same “opinion letter”.
Under the fee only system that is what “interest” the most right now, I’ve actually been able to fully run a cloud operating system from a browser with its volumes encrypted with “your mnemonic”, such that work in the Drive cluster of Scintilla.
Functions are still as app files ind drive, but such can be marketplace powered or on-call memory point, so execution is not happening locally on the browser but ran on other end-point.
The relayers cluster, with each node have its identity makes it really easier to perform additional messenging protocol where you layer the packet in a circuit maneer.
Adding to that the ability for federated learning and distributed computation of such OS, it unlock a lot of thing, for Apiance (oracles), for Kandlfeed (ability to rant the computing of automated agents) and the protocol itself I feel is very valuable (I’m proud of many small point that I think will make it all have a sense to just me).
Actually, I started Robinfolio (so Apiance x Kandlfeed), when speaking about defeating the turing test were out-of-mind, and it was the same with key-rotation (this one, I just don’t understand, it actually make sense to do it…) or fees.
How perception of people shift makes me think that its just a matter of time.
Scintilla is the required network that will allow the next 10 years of crazy project. 2024 is when the prototypes finally ran all integrated, let’s now open it to all.
